2dd greeting cards with images by Henry Bradbury 1829–1860. English printer and writer.
In 1859 he published the book The Nature printed British Seaweeds, printed with the method of »nature printing«.
Seaweeds were pressed between soft lead plates, leaving a perfect impression. The plates were transferred to paper and then hand coloured.
The card comes with a transparent pergamyn/glassine paper envelope made from spruce wood.
