Bric-a-brac started as a small fashion project in Stockholm in the early 1990s. After more then 20 years, it is today an established brand with customers far beyond the Swedish fashion region.

Every now and then it is time to reflect upon the past in order to move forward and develop. In this biography, Bric-a-bracs designers, Malin I Engblom and Christina Wingås, share their history and inspirations.

The biography provides insight into the design process, production, clothes and other items from their archives. With this book the designers also want to show their appreciation for collaborators and customers.

This book also describes our graphic work and identity – designed by our graphic designer Mikael Engblom. He also designed this book which won the Publishing Prize.

Anja Stegen has followed Bric-a-brac during the years and puts the history into words, together with photos by Tina Axelsson and illustrations by Stina Wirsén.
